Kammie Garr

Executive Director- Founder

Kammie created Full Potential Alliance from the heart—as a mother, caregiver, and advocate who has faced the overwhelming weight of navigating systems that weren’t built for families like hers.

Before launching this mission, Kammie spent over a decade in the insurance industry, where she developed strong leadership skills in sales and management, eventually serving as a District Sales Manager overseeing 26 agencies and more than 200 professionals. That experience gave her the strategic vision and organizational insight needed to build Full Potential Alliance with purpose and clarity.

But this work isn’t just professional—it’s personal. As a parent of a son with complex needs, Kammie knows how it feels to be dismissed, turned away, and overwhelmed. She’s lived the chaos of hospital stays, school system battles, and the heartache of watching her child fall through the cracks. Instead of giving up, she turned her pain into a platform—to support other families walking the same road.

Today, Kammie leads Full Potential Alliance with unwavering commitment and compassion. Her vision is clear: to build a space where families are supported, voices are heard, and no one feels forgotten. organization focused on filling these gaps. The mission of the organization is driven by her unwavering commitment to ensuring that no family has to face the struggles her family encountered.

A Personal Note from Kammie: “This work began at my kitchen table, fueled by love, exhaustion, and a fire that wouldn’t quit. I didn’t start Full Potential Alliance because I had all the answers—I started it because I had lived too many of the questions with no place to turn. If I can make even one family’s path a little smoother, then every hard moment will have meant something.”

Dominick Guzman

Co-Founder & Peer Support Advocate

Dominick helped build Full Potential Alliance from a place of lived experience, not a polished résumé. His journey through the world—as someone with both developmental disabilities and mental health challenges—has been shaped by systems that didn’t see him, schools that didn’t know how to support him, and services that treated him like a problem instead of a person.

He’s been hospitalized, misunderstood, dismissed, and labeled more times than he can count. But none of that stopped him from becoming exactly what he needed—a voice for others like him who are still fighting to be heard.

What Dom brings to Full Potential Alliance isn’t something you can learn from a textbook. It’s raw insight, real compassion, and the kind of strength that comes from surviving what was meant to break you. As Co-Founder and Peer Support Advocate, he helps shape our programs with honesty and heart—especially PeerLink, where he works to ensure no kid ever feels as alone as he once did.

Dominick’s presence in this organization is a reminder that leadership doesn’t always look traditional. It looks like courage, empathy, and showing up fully as yourself. He’s here to build something different—a community that doesn’t just say “you belong,” but proves it every day.

A Note from Dom: “I’ve been the kid who got left out, the one no one knew how to help. I’ve been told I was too much, or not enough. But I also know what it feels like to finally be seen—for who I am, not what I struggle with. That’s why I’m here. I want to help other kids like me feel understood, accepted, and supported. I want them to know they matter. You don’t have to be perfect to deserve connection. You just have to be human.”
